Though trained as a Cardiothoracic surgeon, I am basically a general surgeon based at Bangalore, India.
Telemedicine
I happened to have an ancient computer lying unused (286XT, 40MbHDD, minuscule memory) which I
upgraded to a 166PentiumMMX with 2GB HDD and 32 Mb RAM (Intel says this is obsolete, but that's
another story). Anyway I got hooked onto the Internet a couple of years back - the resources in Medicine
are stupendous. I am setting up a service on the Internet with friends and those interested can drop in.
